Non-Destructive Testing (also known as Non-Destructive Evaluation – NDE) is a method of evaluating materials and systems without causing damage to the item being tested. Inspection and testing procedures have a direct impact on the safety of others as well as the environment in which we live and work. The demand for NDT and its technology is increasing as people seek greater safety and environmental awareness.
Technicians must stay current on all technologies and methodologies. Throughout your career, you will be expected to continue your education and recertify your credentials.
NAIT is a Recognized Training Organization (RTO) and Authorized Examination Centre (AEC) by NRCan (Natural Resources Canada). NAIT’s NDT Test Centre has up-to-date equipment for practise and testing.
